This is a studio demo tape that Mountain of Joy recorded and produced in 1994, pretty much at the pinnacle of the band's career in Houston. Although there have been some disparaging comments about the quality of the production, it remains a very good representation of the cumulative talent in the band and the depth of their music. The material is vibrant and well-performed and comes across as a unique and finished sound. Brad sez: "This has always been some of my favorite music, and not just because of my close association with Mountain of Joy, but because it really speaks to me on many levels. Listen to all of it and I think you'll agree. I have lost contact with all of the members of the band over the years, so I hope they will forgive me for putting this on the web without their express permission. I did help to compose some of these songs originally, so I feel very close to this material."
